No referral is necessary. Patients can book directly with our practice by phone or email.

Please bring your ID, medical aid card, any previous medical records, X-rays, MRIs, or test results relevant to your condition.

No. Many orthopaedic conditions can be managed non-surgically through physical therapy, medication, or injections.

Recovery times vary depending on the type of joint replacement (hip, knee, or shoulder) and the patient's overall health. Most patients can resume light activities within a couple of weeks, while full recovery, including strength and mobility, may take a couple of months. Physical therapy is crucial for optimal results, and Dr. Hariparsad will provide a personalised rehabilitation plan.

Many conditions can be managed without surgery. Treatment options include:

- Physical therapy (strengthening and mobility exercises)
- Medications (anti-inflammatories or pain relief)
- Injections (corticosteroids or hyaluronic acid for lubrication)
- Lifestyle modifications (weight management, activity adjustments)

Dr. Hariparsad will recommend the best approach based on your diagnosis.

Surgery is typically considered when:

- Non-surgical treatments fail to relieve pain/instability
- The injury significantly impairs daily function (e.g., fractures, torn ligaments)
- Imaging (X-rays/MRIs) shows severe damage (e.g., advanced arthritis)

Dr. Hariparsad will conduct a thorough assessment and discuss all options with you before recommending surgery.

Your first visit will include:

1. Medical history review (previous injuries, surgeries, medications)
2. Physical examination (range of motion, strength tests)
3. Diagnostic imaging (if needed: X-rays, MRI, or ultrasound)
4. Personalised treatment plan (surgical or non-surgical)

Bring any prior scans, reports, and a list of questions to make the most of your appointment.
